All partner delegations arrived to Agueda on February 10th being welcomed by the host partner.
On Monday, February 11th , the activity programme was explained and distributed given a tour of the school facilities in which they were able to witness ongoing lessons and interact with students and teachers about the class activities. Following the tour, a visit to the Town Hall was held and the Erasmus group was welcomed to the city by the Vice President an done of counsellors.
As a way to get to know one another, each partner school challenged otherpartner
members to engage in interactive games. All partner students had the pportunity to perform sketches related with the topics of discrimination and stereotypes,
prepared beforehand.
On Tuesday,February 12th, the programme included a documentary visit to Porto, where the Erasmus group learned about the Jewish religion and community in Portugal, by visiting the Kadoorie Mekor Haim Synagogue. They also attended a guided visit at the National Press Museum, where, besides learning about the history of the press, fundamental tool fort he dissemination of ideas, knowledge and culture in the World, students and teachers of the Project contemplated two cartoon exhibitions, one commemorative of the Declaration of Human Rights on occasion of its70thanniversary.
On Wednesday,February 13th,the activity programme started with students' presentations on research outcomes on nationa lstereotypes, each country's context regarding migration flows and minorities as well as presentations about countries and schools. Among the audience were about 200 students from six Portuguese classes.
Project students were engaged in sport activities were engaged in sport activities organised by students of Sports Management Professional Course ,while teachers, in a meeting, debared the course of the Project activities.
A gathering of Project teachers and community members took place in a dinner.
On Thursday,February 14th, there was a documentary visit at Barra's Lighthouse and The Atlantic Ocean as iconic symbols of migratory flows which have contributed to Portuguese cultural identity and diversity.
Project students worked in interculturel groups producing poems on the topic of national stereotypes and
organized an exhibition featuring their posters on the Project topic:gender inequality, national stereotypes and religious discrimination. A buffet dinner was held to allow host families, school management, students and all Project members to socialize over traditional gastronomy before attending a short school performance.
